Highly acclaimed playwright and filmmaker Philip Kan Gotanda (‘The Kiss’) tells a poignant story of the troubled relationship of Kan and Mary Ogawa, who are approaching what should be the golden years of their marriage. Ten years earlier, they had lost their son to an accident, which Kan has unfairly blamed on Mary. Unexplained visits by Kan with another woman has further strained the relationship. What we discover about Kan’s visits reveals his deeper quest for understanding about his own life. This film is about the imperfection of life and the ultimate need to accept its giving and taking.

Features veteran actors Nobu McCarthy, Sab Shimono, Dian Kobayashi and Diane Takei.
